About our Marquette ASDA Chapter

Marquette ASDA is Marquette University School of Dentistry’s local chapter of the American Student Dental Association. As the only dental school in Wisconsin, Marquette ASDA has a strong commitment to ensuring the well-being and success of dental students both in and out of the classroom and clinic. Our chapter provides countless opportunities for, and emphasizes the importance of, advocacy, leadership, health and wellness, community engagement, networking, and education.

Our goal is to lay a foundation for our future careers by encouraging involvement in organized dentistry. Organized dentistry is the backbone of what ASDA is all about, and Marquette ASDA is no exception when it comes to advocating for dental students, patients, providers, and the profession as a whole. Between our 13 unique committees, our members are able to participate in countless chapter events to escape the stresses and rigors of dental school. Some favorites include Mr. Molar, ‘Bark’ Madness, annual volleyball tournaments, Step Challenges, and Family Feud. Our members are also given the opportunity to attend district and national ASDA conferences each year.

Marquette ASDA continuously strives to continue improving on the previous year’s accomplishments, finding new ways to engage our members, and to serve as an outlet that compliments and enhances the dental school experience. We are very fortunate that our school’s administration, faculty, staff, and students support the forward momentum of Marquette ASDA, and look forward to continuing that in the years to come!
