What is Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee?
As the newest committee of Marquette ASDA, the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee aids in promoting inclusion and honoring the differences amongst individuals at Marquette and in the local community. This committee also advocates for awareness and education in dentistry through organizing events and providing resources on Marquette ASDA’s social media that promote inclusivity, share cultural differences, and address issues going on in the world today. One of our most recent initiatives is to bring more awareness and appreciation for the diversity that our student body holds. To do this, we have been creating posts for our Instagram page featuring students from various backgrounds! Check them out!
